In FY'07, the New Jersey Lottery provided $58,432,000 to support the operation of our State's nineteen community colleges.
These educational institutions are an important part of New Jersey's higher education system. They are located throughout the State, giving students easy access to a post-secondary education and the opportunity to obtain a high quality education at a reasonably low cost.
Community colleges are the largest provider of higher education in New Jersey, offering residents over 1,700 college credit, non-credit, and professional certification programs.
In addition to traditional education opportunities, community colleges offer a wide range of high quality transfer and occupational programs, plus technical training. T he following are just a few of the many specialized programs offered through New Jersey's community colleges.
