TRENTON, NJ –(April 3, 2013) - The New Jersey Lottery introduces new instant games to its product lineup twice a month. Regularly, as new games begin some of the older games are ended. Lottery players have one year from the game end date to claim their prizes. Once a ticket expires the prizes associated with that ticket also expire and claims will no longer be valid. If the prize is not claimed within the appropriate time period the winnings will be forfeited. TRENTON – (March 25, 2013) – The thrill of the win belongs to New Jersey as the final ticket tally was completed from the Saturday, March 23 drawing confirming that the sole winning jackpot ticket was sold in New Jersey.  The winning ticket was purchased at Eagle Liquor, 126 Passaic Street in Passaic and is the sole winning ticket of the $338 million jackpot. The phone number will be included on the introductory and final game results screens of the production. Trenton , Mar. 5, 2013 – Governor Chris Christie has issued a Proclamation declaring March 2013 Problem Gambling Awareness Month in New Jersey . Throughout the month, the New Jersey Lottery (NJL) and the Department of Human Services Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) will be working with the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey, Inc. TRENTON (Feb. 28, 2013) - Carole Hedinger, NJ Lottery Executive Director, announced New Jersey's latest multi-million dollar Mega Millions jackpot winner, Angel Guallpa-Mayancela. Mayancela was the sole winner of the Mega Millions jackpot for the Friday, Jan. 25 drawing. By matching all five winning numbers along with the Gold Mega Ball number Mayancela won the $89 million annuity jackpot which equates to a $65.7 million cash payout. The winning ticket was sold at Lisa's Angel Corporation, 328 Main Street in Orange in Essex County. The winning numbers for the Jan. 25 draw were: 11, 12, 17, 31, and 48. TRENTON – (Dec. 26, 2012) – The New Jersey Lottery announced that it will begin airing its live evening game draws on CBS-owned television stations, daily, beginning Jan. 1, 2013 at 7:57 pm. The daily drawing will air on CBS-owned stations WLNY-TV 10/55 in New York and The CW Philly 57(WPSG-TV). Viewers are asked to check their local cable listings for channel numbers.
