New Jersey Lottery In Your Community

RECENT EVENTS HIGHLIGHTS
“INDEPENDENCE DAY RAFFLE”
AND LOTTERY'S SUPPORT FOR NJ VETERNS

New Jersey Lottery Acting Executive Director William Jourdain, together with officials of the Vineland Veterans Home, joined together to spotlight the benefits Lottery revenues provide to the veteran community, and to promote the Lottery's Independence Day Raffle game. But by far, the best part was the ride veterans had from the Vineland veteran facility to a local Lottery retailer. They road in restored vintage troop carriers and Jeeps, the use of which was graciously donated by local veterans in support of the residents of the Vineland Veterans Home.

The New Jersey Lottery and Lottery retailer Todd's News Agency co-hosted a special promotional event which highlighted New Jersey's veterans community, and showed how Lottery dollars help make a difference in the lives of our State's many brave veterans. Veterans had an opportunity to purchase their lottery tickets, including tickets for the exciting Independence Day Raffle.

After the promotional event, all members of the press, New Jersey Lottery and Cumberland County officials were invited back to the Vineland Veterans Home for a brief tour of the newly redesigned facility, which includs an Assisted Living section on the premises, the first-of-its-kind in New Jersey.

Residents of the Vineland Veterans Home were joined by New Jersey Lottery Officials and the Cumberland County Freeholder Director in a convoy from the veterans' facility, through Vineland City, to Todd's News Agency on E. Landis Avenue.

Prior to the start of the convoy, restored vintage military vehicles are lined up in front of the Vineland
